Synopsis:
Set thirty years after Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: A New Hope — the fourth episode of the saga — takes us back to the desert planet of Tatooine. A young Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) begins to discover his destiny when, while searching for a lost droid, he is saved by the reclusive Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness).
As a civil war rages across the galaxy and the Rebel forces fight against the evil Galactic Empire, Luke and Obi-Wan enlist the help of the daring pilot Han Solo (Harrison Ford). Joined by the peculiar droid duo R2-D2 and C-3PO, the unlikely team embarks on a mission to rescue the Rebel leader Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and use the stolen plans to destroy the Empire’s ultimate weapon.
In a legendary confrontation, the Rebel group launches an attack on the Death Star in a climactic battle against the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
