The Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB), managed by Fira de Barcelona, adds a new recognition to its trajectory in the hospitality sector. Its head of the F&B (Food & Beverage) department, Aitor Llorens Corral, has been awarded Best Maître of the Year at the V National Clave F&B Congress, held in the Costa Adeje Tourism Development Cente of Tenerife on May 26th and 27th.

Organized by Club Clave—an entity of which CCIB is a member—the congress brought together more than 150 professionals and leading companies in the hospitality and catering sector to share knowledge and promote innovation and excellence in service. Over the two-day event, current trends and challenges in the sector were discussed through specialized lectures, roundtables, and an experiential gastronomic hub known as “show services.”

The event saw the participation of prominent food and beverage companies, as well as major national and international hotel chains.
